On 13 September 2024, a group of WJ’s team enjoyed a day out at the annual British Drilling Association Golf Day. Held at the prestigious Portal Golf Course in Tarporley, Cheshire, the event saw an impressive turnout with 52 competitors from 13 different companies.
Everybody agreed that it was a fantastic day out filled with team building, friendly competition, and camaraderie. The golf itself featured various prizes with categories including best putter, closest to the pin, longest drive, and three team competitions.
WJ’s golfers included a diverse group from right across the company, including team members that included managers, engineers, drillers, and yard staff.
While WJ Groundwater missed out on winning any team awards this year, we’re proud to announce that Will Judge brought home the Longest Drive Award. A big congratulations to Will on his achievement.
